how many of you would like to watch gymnastics?????

All of my friends think I'm weird but I love watching gymnastics. The skill and strength needed to do what they do is phenomenal, not to mention the courage that they must possess. I love when the olympics are on because I get to watch gymnastics every day for a week almost, but when it ends I am sad because it is not normally on the television apart from the olympics. A couple of years ago the world championships were on in Birmingham, England and I only live an hours train ride away so me and my mum went and watched the first day. It is even more amazing to see them live than on the television. Sadly we could not get tickets for the second day. Do you have any favourite gymnastics? I always used to love Alexei Nemov, he was so talented. I also like Anna Pavlova from Russia and Tomito from Japan, though neither of them did as well as they normally do this year.

Hello, mayurakhi1! I am from Romania, and gymnastics is one of the sports I've always watched with pleasure, as the Romanian gymnasts always placed high on the podium. It's a beautiful sport and deserves every minute spent watching it. I've never been very flexible, and could barely perform some of the gymnastic stuff in the physical education classes, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy watching gymnastic at its highest level.

Like you guys, I am also fond of watching gymnastics. I consider myself as a fan actually. I watch videos online and I love browsing for all the previous world and olympic all around championships. I even have a collection and I am planning of sharing them with others online.

I think gymnastics is so underrated in the American media, I always get excited when any gymnastics competition comes on on tv. Previously it was the 2009 world championships in London and I got so mad because I missed the women's aa final (thank god for the internet and youtube). Gymnastics is quite a hard sport and I think the reason why I was fascinated by it was because seeing these people flip and tumble and do all these crazy acrobatics with their body was more riveting than watching guys throw and catch balls, if you know what I mean. But I think it is more based on preferences, I just happen to like gymnastics a lot.

I love watching gymnastics too. It is a beautiful sport as gymnasts have every quality - balance, power, grace, speed, technique, etc. I did gymnastics from when I was 8 years old until I was in my 20s and pregnant with my second child. I am 40 now and can still do the splits and some moves. I think it is great watching the gymnastics stars of the 1970s and 1980s too like Olga Korbut, Nelli Kim, Nadia Comaneci, etc. and watching their videos on You Tube.
