There are a couple of romantic films that came out lately but like true romantic films most have tragic or semi tragic ends Life is beautiful - La vita é bella Romeo and Juliet City of Angels Restoration (not a true romantic film) Sliding Doors Great Expectations (my favourite is David Lean's version love triumphs over all) A Very Long Engagement Chocolate And lighter romantic comedies 50 First Dates Notting Hill Love, actually 10 things I hate about you Something's Gotta Give Keeping the Faith Philadelphia Story Shakespeare in love This is a small list without any of the classics like Titanic, Casablanca, English Patient etc.

Music and lyrics

I love the movie Never Been Kissed. Drew Barrymore was the actress. Its funny, touching and romantic at the end. I don't know whether you have watched this movie before or not. If you have not, I highly recommend this.
