Barangay Ginebra Wednesday night returned to greatness in the face of all sorts of adversities that many thought the Kings couldn’t live through when they beat Air21 on game7 of the fiesta cup finals. And with a collective effort in the season’s final game, the Kings also proved that adversity is what they thrive on. At some point I really thought AIR21 will go home champions because of Gin Kings key player injuries (Jayjay, Caguioa, Valenzuela and Import Alexander) especially in game 7 when Valenzuela and Alexander go down late in the 3rd quarter. But this is Ginebra the "Never say Die" team and they prove it, the desire to give their fans another championship is what drives them to fight through pain and the fans provided the Gin kings with a much more needed energy to fight and win until the end. Congratulations also to all of us Brgy. Ginebra die hard fans!!!, congratulations also to Air21 for giving us a great match and putting Ginebra to the limit.
