A friend of my husbands got his motorcycle stolen at work the other night. There are at least 150 servalence cameras in the parking lot. They cannot see on the videos who it was that stole it but surely with all those camersa they can get a license number right? How many angles will they really check?Do you think they will find it or the person that stole it?

I'm sorry to hear about this. In my opinion, chances are the bike is gone. Here's why: 1) There are 150 cameras, but how many are real and working? 2) Are the footages saved or recorded or are deleted? 3) Doesn't sounds nice but its the truth. It isn't their own bike, so why would they take all the measures to get the bike back? 4) A motorbike is still relatively small. By the time they got their act together, the bike would have been exported, or stripped and its parts sold as spares. 5) It doesn't matter if they got the license plate anyway, because it would have been swopped at the earliest opportunity. 6) If it is an experienced syndicate, things will be done a lot faster and chances are a lot slimmer. Dang..How I wish all criminals are caught and shut away. Hope that this is the last incident we will all hear about.

I used to work there. All of the camers are real and they are all working. There are many different angles and they record all activity in the parking lot and around the building. As of right now they believe it to be a personal attack by his ex-wife.Who ever it was had a key. They also stole a helmet off the bike sitting next to his. I do hope they are caught and punished accordingly.Harleys ain't cheap.Thanks.

I see..if it is a personal attack than the chances are alot higher than. But having to steal a helmet...that seems like an poorly plannd theft. Whatever it is, I hope that the bike is recovered and nothing of this sort ever happens again. =)

they may find the person who stole it,but doubtless they will end up getting away with it,150 cameras, must be a big parking lot! I hope they do find them and catch them but if i were your friends husband i wouldnt hold my breath
