who will be called lover

In my opinion,lover is not a specific word for those who loves their girl friend/boy friend but here the word LOVER indicates for every lovingly relation whether it is mother-son,brother-sister,husband-wife etc..........

You are right. One who loves is lover but the love between mother and son,brother and sister or husband and wife is not same.Motherly love is different from brotherly love and so on.Generally who loves their girl friend/boy friend are called lovers.
