Do you think it's better to be friends with your lover or have your friend separate? Should you have your space and your separate life from your husband or wife? Or by being friends with your wife or husband does that make your relationship stronger??

I think it's absolutely important to be friends with your spouse/lover. My husband is my best friend. I have other friends also but none compare to my husband. He knows me inside out. He understands me and my strange little habits.
I don't see how you can't be friends with your spouse/lover. To me they go hand in hand. How would you expect your relationship to grow if there wasn't a friendship?
You need to be able to get along (most of the time), laugh, communicate, have fun with each other, debate and argue. The friendship you share ties you two together.
