Everyone stay safe! Jacksonville Beach has really high tide, I saw it first hand, On TV it's showing almost as high as the pier. There's almost no actual beach left, just water. Some of our neighbors are moving the cars out of our known flood zone but still where we can get to them if we need to leave. On the news they are expecting a lot of flooding and tornados. Fay has also stalled and picked up some speed. If you pray pray for us, we should be ok, I am concerned though for the 5600 some odd homes in our area that are without power, last time we lost power at the beach during a big storm, it was out for days.

This storm is taking it's time and right now still beating up on Florida. It's moving slow and still not leaving Fla. I hope that it will be over soon, cause right now mother nature is acting up and Fla. is the place that she want to be. I just hope it stays a storm and doesn't turn into a hurricane.

I am glad mother nature finally gave Fay the push west, there was too much stalling. Sad thing is 6 deaths statewide, and still 7, some odd thousand people still getting their power back. All in all though, Florida pulled through like only Florida can.
I went by an italian ices place, Rita's, earlier, they had only three flavors, and no custard for Gelati's :(, saddly for them I was their first customer in 4 days! Of course, two of those days they were closed, but still.
Back to reality as they say.

Thank you so much, Fay moved west last night, there's still some wind, and more rain to come, but we were lucky at the beach, it didn;t flood as much as we thought it would, and we only had a few power outages, and intermittent Internet connection, but other than that, just a lot of wind and rain, oh and the wind broke an umbrella too, heh.
