I think there are many post that ever talk about this topic. But a few days ago, I see that there are some members says the comment give us an earning, but other mylotter say no. So I become confuse, then I realize there are two comment post in mylot.
The first is found in the discussion, people who respond our discussion then we can give them a comment about the respond.
The second one is in the profile page, We can give a comment to our friends, maybe a sentences or animation with html code.
So is there because this two comment in different location cause different opinion ?
Are there anyone give a comfirmation or soluttion about this?
I'm very thank's for it.

Hello winzpc,
I have to say that your number one description of "Comment" still gives you an earning.
Like you i have read a lot when i am starting here bout myths that a comment made to your own thread as well as the 2nd, 3rd, 4th ++ comment you post to others discussion is not counted when it comes to earnings.
This is not true IMHO coz most of my earnings comes from responding to my own discussion, in the past and until now i have discussion that will take my whole time out here BUT despite that i managed to reach an earning higher than $1 and there is one time that i even reach $2 (just once) by doing so.
my only explanation to this is because i tend to write more if its my own discussion coz i have better knowledge of it since i started it (i mean i can respond in a manner that i can really relate with)
i think it depends on how active your discussion is and or how much you participate (length) on your own discussion.
You have to understand that mylot made it clear to their FAQ's and regulations that our earnings are based on our activities out here, if that is the case, it doesnt matter what you do, be it a comment on your own discussion or a comment on someone else's profile, what ever you do it still gives you something.
when it comes to post (commenting to ones post) you can only earn something higher than normal if your post is considered as quality one and not just a one liner.
it is suggested that we post longer than 3 sentences, a few paragraphs will make a huge difference on your daily earnings.
anyway, i am not sure how old or new are you here in mylot but reading will help you a lot.
i have a discussion that tackles the myth about mylot and you might find it interesting to look at if you have other concerns.

also, you are doing great of posting/starting a discussion about your concerns out here.
it sure helps a lot to understand it.
good night!

This is what I have seen. If you comment to someone elses discussion, you are earning. If you respond to someone that responded to your discussion (like I am doing here) then you don't earn anything. Although I am not totally sure about that. It is nice when you reply to people that answer your discussions
The best thing I have found to do is to comment to others discussions and answer those who respond to your own discussions and not worry about the earnings, as they will come to you while you are having fun here. Also, it helps if, when you respond to someone, you answer with more than just a few words.
Have fun mylotting my friend

You don't earn anything by posting comments to someone's profile. The only way to earn is in the common areas.
I have a lot of tips that I've written that help members make the most of their myLot experience. You can find them by looking at my profile.

Comments will only give you earnings if you give substantial comments. Not just thank you. There must be at least four sensible sentences in order for your to gain earnings for that. Believe me, I tried it already and it really gave me more earnings. Those who said it never give you earnings are those who answered thank you. Well they are wrong!

well, i believe so, because whenever i respond to a discussion i noticed i get money out of it. and i also tried doing nothing the whole day but replying back to those mylotters who responded to my discussions and i still earn by doing so. now, about the comments that we leave on our friends profile, i am not sure with that anymore. i am not fond of doing that, i love it better when i respond to discussions and start my own, but i seldom start a discussion, more often, i would respond to the other mylotters discussions.

I have seen many discussions talking about comments and how some people think they do add to your earnings and some think that it does not add to your earnings and I agree it can be quite confusing my friend,I do think that you get money for commenting on on responses to discussions because I think I have gotten money from my comments but I am not sure if you get money from commenting on peoples profiles.

Dear friend,Everyone has a very vague opinion here about getting earnings for the comments made to their own discussions.Noone is very clear about that and its only their judgement. So what I feel is there is some rating for each and every activity of yours..This is also my guess only..Happy mylotting.

I read what has gained the mylotter commentary on-line.who said that the website has the charm very much. moreover the prestige is very good. Therefore the payment should the prestige be supposed not to have the question,I am a novice that hoped made money mulotter comes out to support.
Best wishes my lottering friend.

Yes, in my obseration, it gives us the money. One day I responded to 40 answers to to my discussions. I did not reply any other discussion and not even started new discussion. I remember I got 28 cents. It was because I commented some reply with thanks only. So, if your comment is 3-4 lines then you should get the money. This is my obseration only.

they say that only posting discussions, responding into them and posting photos helps in reaching payout. comments not really. another thing, putting tags is considered as participation. that is how you earn here. you may read the faqs, faqs terms and condition things like that.

I believe if your comment is long enough say at least 4 to 5 sentences and substantial, you will also get points for that. I am not really very sure though but my experience seem to positively says I am right in this assumption. However if others believe otherwise then maybe they have reasons to say so. We could only guess really because it is not really written clearly in the guidelines and facts here. Well to me whether I earn or not I always give long comments if needful in order to encourage healthy discussion. That is anyway the purpose of mylot.

I never thought i will recieve any earning by commenting on any responses whether its mine or some one else. If I feel like to comment i will surely do it. In Fact I do coment more than the responses I write in My Lot. Who cares when U doing your job to keep up the discussion. But as some one told previously in this discussion Comments Definately give you earning Indirectly. Increasing people responding to your discussion and Good Comments will increase your respect and reputation from others too..
