Is your myspace page public or private??

I have my profile set to private. I don't want a bunch of weirdos coming and looking at my pics, and sending me emails. I hate getting a bunch of spam. I have a lot of pics of my daughter on there, and I only want to share them with my friends and family. I think its better to have it be private, because you don't have joe smo looking into your stuff.

Mine is public. I don't put anything on it that's so private I wouldn't want people to see it, what is up there everybody can see.

I have mine set to private, though it wasn't always that way. When I first signed up to myspace I kept it public for a short time. Then I went to private, and back to public. I couldn't make up my mind! LOL I now have it set to private and it has been that way for a while now. I plan on keeping it this way as I don't want just anyone to be able to view it. As there are weirdos everywhere it just isn't a good idea to have a myspace page made public.

I used to have it public but then ever so recently I figured out Employers are starting to track people online to do more of a "thurough" backround check. I didn't really have anything to worry about though as I use two different names. I have a personal one, and a professional one but you never know, maybe they can connect the two together & with that thought I made everything private other then for my friends on any given site that I could.

my page is private cause i dont want my hubbys ex all on my page. she is nosey and i dont want her around us at all.. so i keep mine private. plus i have a few old friends and boyfriends i dont want on my page lol

My myspace page was public,but I got a lot of spam.Now it's private.I can still get friend's requests,and I don't have anything on the page that is private.I did got friends' requests from people I didn't care for,I just didn't want to.

I have mine set to public; nothing there I need to hide.

My page is public but my pictures i have set that only my friends can see them. I post picture of my kids so that family can see them and how they are growing but I don't want just anyone seeing them. I only accept people that i know to be my friends on myspace. On my main page there isn't anything important that someone would see. Plus I don't have anyone that I'm worried about looking at it either.

My page has always been private. My page is only for friends, classmates, and family members. I don't want people I don't know to know my business. And when its public you tend to get a lot of spam and I hate spam.

Me and my fiance both use myspace to keep in touch with our friends because they have busy schedules,my profile is currently set at public even though there are are a few instances where I set my profile as private to keep certain people from seeing my profile or trying to contact me,and I usually keep it where you have to know my email to request me as a friend on myspace.

Mine is private set to only thos as friends. This is only because i have nieces and nephews that also are on myspace, and well even though i have a seperate page that i set up for them to communicate through with me, they search and manage to find the other page...and well i have a rather open lifestyle and they dont need to know about it at least not at this point, they are two young.

I know a lot of people are afraid that if it's public they'll get spam and friend requests from weirdos, but I've never had that happen. But I do sometimes think it's because I have a big glaring 42 next to "age" and most of the MySpace population is just scared off when they see that! The whole reason I got a MySpace page is so I can have a place to put up stuff I want to be seen, I blog there, and have some pictures of my cats and favorite movies and books. I don't put personal photos or videos there though, I only do that on Facebook where it is private except for friends.

Mine's Private. I get more friends that way hahaha...if they get intrigued, they'll add me. And I'm more of a private person.

Mine was public when I had it as I kept everything personal in my life away from the page. I was using Myspace as a place to find new bands so my profile was pretty basic.
