What is your favorite Green Day Album, and WHY?

How can people respond in detail to a discussion thats only 4 words long? Anyway, Green day is a cool band. Many people think they are a new band but actually they have a long history. Their earlier albums were very unsuccessful. But all that changed when they released American Idiot (My Fav album) They have a unique style that sets them apart from other bangs of the same genre. Anyway, long live greenDay!

Actually the earlier albums such as 39/Smooth and Kerplunk were some of the first successful punk rock albums since The Offspring(the punk band)...people wanted to hear it there music! Plus! Dookie was an extremely big hit that has about 5 hits on it. They changed when they came out with that album and I can assure you that they were never unsuccessful! They came out with American Idiot which brought them out of that Dookie shadow that they were living in ever since they came out with it. You tell me they were very unsuccessful...name some songs of theirs that you've heard that weren't successful.
You saying that their success started with American Idiot just shows how much you know! Great job!

What I meant was that American Idiot was a big after being `relatively` unsuccessful before. Yeah, Dookie was huge. And by the way, I wasn't insulting anyone. `4 words` partially goes against the guidelines. If im wrong about facts, correct me but I don't understand why you have to take responses so negatively.
