Why does some people cheat?

Some people cheat to escape or to try new things or they're not contented for what they have and for me there's no excuse for that.Do you have any ideas why they do that and how can it be prevented?

Your are talking about while in a relationship right? They cheat because they are selfish and they only think about themselves. They are only interested in what they want and feel and not really interested in the other person.

Well people cheat so they dont have to try as hard basically. Like in school people that cheat on test they either didnt study or just dont have confidence for them selfs so they feel like they have to cheat otherwise they would fail. I know I cheat on videogames mainly because I suck at them and I find it more fun a lot of times.
