love yourself above all. have confidence in everything that you do. don't be afraid to show who you really are. have the strength to accept the fact that you are someone special, too.
so, you have a friend with such a problem. good for him he has you as his friend. be there for him. try to help him boost his self-esteem. help that friend build self confidence. appreciate some of the things he has done. make him feel important.

Self confidence and positive attitude is the best tonic which will make you feel more relax and will bring in optimism in you. Inferiority complex is nothing but negative energy and you must expell it out breathing deeply and say that I am a winner and I can do it, it will surely improve your confidence.

1) Medications can help - I've gone various routes with meds and found some helpful. However, you can't solve a problem as complex as what you;ve stated by just taking a pill
2) Therapy - vital to a mulilayer treatment and can be short-term or long-term
3) Exersize - this is freaking HUGE! Don't discount the benefits of a good 30 minute cardio workout 3 to 5 times per week.
4) Do something with all that talent, time, ability and education - in other words, a person with low self-esteem should get into service for other people. Volunteering to feed the homeless, paint houses for the infirmed, teach someone to read, teach a language, tutor in math, etc.
Hitting the problem from different angles is the way to go for me. Over time I am learning the skills of self-care and getting out of my own head.
In my own case, too, a solid belief in, and service to God (in whatever form makes sense to you) is crucial.
Good luck to you and your loved ones.

The inferiority complex can be eliminated by inculcating in the person to fight against I.C. as an enemy. KNowledge is power and the person should work hard to acquire knowledge. Knowledge gives self confidence and self confidences bides goodbye to inferiority complex.

You have to always point out the best parts he/she got. It is easy. But be careful. You can get him/her to the other side. And then you will be the one qith the complex of inferiority. Trust me, I know!

I have a little of IC. I try to get rid of it by confiding in my friends. Thanks for your opinions.
