I think that they should be. You just can't cheat. It undermines the spirit of the games. And, come on, who thinks those girls are 16? A bunch of blind people maybe until they talk. I know it's not their fault. I know their government made them, but still you have to follow the rules regardless. This kind of behavior undermines what the Olympics are supposed to be about. I'm glad that this is just not going to go under the rug. The IOC is angry, and I hope the International Gymnastics Federation (IFG) does its job.

If this plays out how it probably will, they will lose more than just one medal. It is not as if this wasn't predictable as the outcome. The evidence that was coming out was insurmountable, especially with someone from the New York times finding government documents saying she was 14 years and 220 days old at the time of the Olympics! If the allegations are true, I feel bad for all the athletes who were blocked from gaining the medal straight up at the game, as although they probably will get medals, it would be nothing like winning them at the games themselves and standing on that podium knowing that they are the best. The IOC really has no other choice than to investigate, or these Olympics would always have an asterix next to the Olympic results.
