Can I just mention one thing that really bugs me about the movies? Not so much number 1 and 2, but by movie 3, the characters hardly ever dress up in wizard's robes. They're just wearing normal clothes. Like what's so special about that? And does anybody else think it's a little weird that most pure bloods, like Mr. Weasley, Moody, and Fudge, don't know how to wear regular 'muggle' clothes, but Ron and Malfoy seem to have no problem? What are Harry and Hermoine coaching them?
OK, just had to vent that cuz I miss the characters dressing like witches and wizards, not muggle school kids.

yup, that's one i've noticed. in the first 2 movies, they were wearing robes. and in the others films, they usually wear muggle clothes. The first one, they had wizard hats on too... and the other films seem to forget to put their hats on.
About the old people who doesn't know how to wear muggle clothes, i think it is because maybe they are like our grandparents who doesn't know how to use mobile phones and computers nowadays. My mom is having a hard time understanding computers and ipods so i think that's what JKR is trying to tell us why Mr.weasley, moody, and fudge doesn't know how to wear muggle clothes. It's also because they are too familiar with the wizarding world and they simply don't know what's going on with the muggle world anymore. See, Ron and his siblings are also wearing a "trying hard to look like muggles" outfit because they are not that exposed to muggle stuffs. Consider Luna too.... Now, Harry and Hermione knows a lot about the muggle world since that's where they simply grew up! :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is bugged by it. In the book it always talks about them putting on their robes, why do you think the directors thought they ought to just have them dress in regular clothes. Can't possible be budget concerns. Do you think they thought it would make them more appealing to teenagers, more relatable? Rubbish says I. Is it a wizarding world or not. Just where are they supposed to be keeping their wands, sticking out of their jeans pockets? PU-LEESE.

i'm so excited to see the last two series... but it made me so sad when i heard about releasing the 6th film 11 months from now instead of November 21, 2008.... That's so unfair to HP fans who are waiting for the 6th film for a very long time. And what is more sad is that they are going to split the last series into two parts... I dont mind sitting for 5 hours to watch the 7th movie! I guess they are after the money again. They are pushing the 6th film next July because it's summer and a lot can watch the film more (see, its because of money) and they are going to split the 7th film in two (to double the earnings right?) OMG, i can't believe it! But well, that's how it is in the movie industry... i understand their method of marketing, and it sucks!
