why do we like being in relationships?

Being in a relationship is breathing air for human being, i mean after all man is a social animal right, what would a person be if he doesnt have any relation with the people he is living with, i am not only talking about opposite sexes love here, i am also talking about family as well, as for love, after a certain age loving your parents is not enough, that special person enters your world & joins in your top priority list, having those miniscule arguments or fights with each other, then saying sorry or forgiving has its own charm. Doing day to day chores, going for movies or outings just like that, in todays time for 2 people to adjust to each others nature is a testing time, but as days go by you are rewarded with a more stronger & lasting relationship ever. God how much i cherish to have people who love me no matter what.

yeah, we all have reasons why we enter into relationships. and sometimes, we are caught in a relationship without knowing when it has started. anyway, your reason, if i may say my comment, sounds self-centered. i mean we only not get into relationship to have someone to be there for us; we also have to be there for them. in my case, i enter into relationships because i feel more human. relationships makes me grow as a person in partnership with another. so if there is an opportunity for a relationship, i take that opportunity.

It's just in our nature. Humans are very social creatures. Don't know what else to say.

Being in a relationship is such a nice feeling. There would be someone who would care for you. But what I hate about relationships is that in times of goodbyes, it is like a living hell.

because when you are in a relationship, it tests you as a person will you be able to give,forgive,care,and share what you have for this person...when you're in a relationship it does not necessarily mena that you have to be with each other for the whole day...it's also testing your patience whether you'll manage to still be in love with that person whether you're close of far away from that person..some might call it destiny, and some might call it faith....

I know that I like being in a relationship because I do not want to be alone. I want to have someone who will be there for me and who is a bit like me. I want someone who loves me for me and who will always be there for me. I think that my boyfriend is fulfilling that role.

As for myself, I like being in a relationship for the same basic reason you do, it's nice to have someone there to share things with, good or bad. Even though I have had 3 failed relationships (marriages) I am lucky to have an amazing man in my life now. He can always make me smile, even on the worst of days, he was the first one I called when I got hired for my dream job, it's just nice to share special and not so special moments.

I have asked myself this question many many times, and I guess some of the answers would be loneliness, they say loneliness is a killer and it is true it can be. Although I do have to say that I have informed my hubby that should the worst come to the worst and we end up parting for any reason, I am never getting involved with anyone else. That is a promise I have made to myself and although he always says that I would find someone else I know that I will not. If we split then no one would take his place, I will just appreciate my own company.

Being in a relationship when it is good it the best thing in the world. But it is better to be alone than to be in an abusive relationship or even in one where you don't love the other person.

For me, its just that we born to love and to be loved. ^___^

i will like to have some good feeling inside. someone who will make me feel important. that is why i really want to be in relationship and of course it is really a good feeling to have some one besides us always. and who take care of us always. and who look after us always.

I love the feeling of being loved. I think it is the best thing to ever have in your life. Someone loving you for who you are and how you turned out is the best feeling ever. Even when it comes down to having your own child - its the best feeling in the world to love someone that much ... the feeling of love is one that you can never change - regardless of the situation

I think it is not good to be in a relationship just to have someone to be there always for you. The prime and only reason why you should get into a relationship is love. When you get into a relationship because of other things, then you are in love just being in a relationship and not with the person you are with in the relationship. These things like having someone always there for you are only the extra things you get because of loving someone. It is just the cherry on top of the ice cream. The ice cream comes first and nothing beats it.

we are human beings, and we want to be in relationship. That's what makes us different from other animals .

i think because we didnt like being alone... did u ever thinking about in 60 years old and being alone?

Being in a relationship where both parties are enjoying and having fun .. is good. But when it is one sided it is not so wonderful .. it is more like a burden.. For me i am one of the lucky ones like you .. i found my soul mate who is there always for me ... after the hardship we went through all the years .. we have finally overcome all the problems and interfearing people.. He was there for me yesterday ... He is there for me today ... and i want him there for me tomorrow ... cheers

I think its because you will feel good especially when you know there is someone whom is there for you and to care for you

I like to be in the relationship because you can have someone that you can spend your precious time with and even if you dont like if you find already the person you can't help but to stay with him/her and build your precious memory.

i guess it helps to make us feel good about ourselves..and it's nice to have someone to talk to or just to hang out with when you just feel like it.
