William peterson is leaving CSI las vegas

Yup, it is true William Petersen is leaving CSI Las Vegas, I forgot the name of the incoming cast member but it was said that he won't fill the gap that Grishom will leave, as the creator and producer said, they never think of or intend in any way to re-create another Grishom because it he will be forever Petersen. He will leave the show gradually, it is plotted in the whole season, Sara Sidle (Jorja Fox) and Lady Heather will have recurring guest stint that will add and surmount into his leaving the show. He wanted to concentrate on his stage acting career, as he is an excellent one even before he did the CSI Las Vegas. But don't despair, he will stay behind the cam as a producer of the show, he said that CSI is a part of his life and no one can make him stay away for so long.

Yep. He's leaving. And the great actor Laurence Fishburne is taking his place. William wants to focus more on stage plays, which is amazing at. I can't say that I won't miss him, but I salute him for wanting to move on.

I'm not saying you're wrong but I haven't heard that. I'm an avid watcher of all 3 shows and I try to keep up on that kind of info, but I must admit that I have been out of the 'loop' lately. I will have to look it up. I should be getting my People magazine soon. If you hear anything definite, please post and share. Thanks.

Hi k1virus, I am so sorry that William Peterson will be leaving CSI. I don't feel that Lurence Fishbourne will be able to fill Grissom's shoes. He may be good in a role that takes over the position that Grissom held, but not to play the role of Grissom. That role has been marked by William Peterson. Jorja Fox returning? Cameo appearances only? Sarah has a good role, though a bit different. Jorja makes a good Sarah, and it will be refreshing to see her again. I'm really looking forward to the new season, if I could just find out when it starts! LOL Have a nice day..

what?! oh my God.. that can't be.. He's the only reason why I'm watching CSI. I love Grissom's Character. I even have his famous witty lines. awwww... it'd be a shame if he leaves. I hope that's not true.

Why is he leaving he is one of the best on the show.
