Do you afraid of being near-sighted?

Honestly, more than anything, I am thankful for my perfect eyesight. My husband wears glasses and so do my cousin in law. I try to take care of my eyes often and not abuse it. One tip is not to wash them at once if you are really tired. i actually pity kids who have to wear glasses at such an early age. it makes me think how they would be by the time they reached their teens.

My being nearsighted became apparent when I was about 13. For several years I only wore glasse in school classes and driving but the more I wore them, the more I needed them. Also, when I got to college I didn't like walking across campus and not being able to see the pretty girls clearly. When it became apparent that I was going to be drafted during the Vietnam war, I applied to the Naval Officer training program but was turned down because of my eyesight. However, I played tennis and did other sports with no problems and one advantage of being very nearsighted was that if I wanted to exam something very closely, I could take off my glasses and hold the object up close and it was like using a very good magnifying glass. Finally I got tired of wearing glasses and had lasik. Now my problem is I need glasses to read and to exam something closely I have to get a magnifying glass which doesn't work as well as the other method.

Healthy 6 by 6 six sure are good but I also wear glasses. My eye sight number is -2.5 and I cannot see faces clearly from far. My eye sight got weak all because of computer.
