Men and Toilet Paper Rolls

We have all heard the rumors. Men simply do not know how to put a roll of toilet paper back on the roller. They can place it on a near by cabinet or on the back of the toilet, or they can even set it on top of the roll, but it seems physically impossible for the male specied to actually pull the roller off, dispose of the empty roll, replace the new roll and put the roller thing back on.
Is it just me or I am I the only woman who has never seen a man put a roll of toilet paper on the roller, and actually hang it back up?
If you are a man do you put a new roll back on or do you place it in anoher place, but somewhere near the tiolet?

lol omg i always put a new roll of toilet paper back on when the other runs out, and always on the roller. My ex girlfriend would never do it and it drove me nuts. She would just place the new roll on the counter next to the toilet, oh i got so friggin frusterated just because, i mean come on, your sitting right there next to the roll just switch it out real quick doesn't take that much effort

Well as far as my husband is concern as a man , he puts the toilet roll back to where it is...the whole process on the roller the correct side facing in front and then on its rightful place.

heheh i've heard stories about this. thankfully my husband doesnt do that. in fact he is always right on stuff like that.,

Hi ladym,
[i]My husband is not an organize in his stuff and I always follow arranging it but when it comes to the toilet paper rolls, he will always take time to replace it and put it back in order!

LOL I'm that way... My wife ends up being the one to put the new toilet paper on the roll. She doesn't complain though. :)

I'll be honest with you; about 50 % of the time I will put the roll on the roller. The other times its sits on the bathroom sink.

Believe me, it's not jut men. My girlfriend's daughter; when a roll of paper towels runs out, she goes in the bathroom closet, gets out a new roll of paper towels, unwraps it and sets it on the table for either me or my girlfriend to put it on the roll. I gues it's just too much work. Same thing in the bathroom. A toilet paper roll will be set either on the toilet or sits on top of the roll. I'm usually the one that puts it on the rooler.

I think men consider this a "woman's job" if they have one around. I know some guys would rather not do this because they really don't want anyone to say it was put on wrong. There is no right way to put toilet paper back on the roll but some would put the roll so the paper is dispensed from the back. Whereas most women prefer it from the front. Then again men are just lazy when it comes to doing this or this job is so mundane they tend to ignore it. As long as they can reach it, it doesn't matter to them where it is.

Hey, I resemble that lady. OK guilty as charged, my wife is always yelling at me about that. But then she puts it on, so why should I bother. It is just one of those little pleasures in life that I give to her. Otherwise I am perfect. LOL @seasons1981 (299)

actually i have a man that will SOMETIMES do that but for the most part he just puts it on the roller - like on top of it. lol. Its usually when we are cleaning and its still sitting there that he will finally put it on the roller so it is sitting correctly. I wonder why that is lol - laziness I guess you could blame it on - plus they dont use it as much as us women so that may be part of the reason

I'm a girl and i dont put back the toilet roll(ooopppss) my boyfriend is always telling me that theres is no such thing as a toilet paper faerie. But he cant stay mad at me for long and thus his in charge of putting it where it belong. He also cleans! Laundry, dishes. I just cook and buy XD

Lol! This made me laugh! Actually it is true.. i am staying alone in my pad, as soon as i run out off toilet papers. i do get another roll but i place it in a different place unawarely!. but as soon as i noticed that it was not on the right place.. i have no choice but to put it back on its roller...

This definitely doesn't hold for all men however. My grandfather isn't bad with this sort of thing but my mother sure is. She's terrible at putting toilet paper on the holder. I'm at school right now but I'm sure that the first weekend I'll go home, I'll find about 10 toilet paper rolls discarded on the bathroom shelf with the new roll also sitting on the shelf.
I don't get what's so hard about taking 3 seconds to put up a new roll and then throwing the old in the trash or giving it to my mouse to chew on.

Nope you're not alone in this one as my husband does it too. It's just plain laziness just like when they don't put the seat down after they use the toilet. Very frustrating!!!

My husband almost never puts a new roll on! He usually uses it all up and doesn't even bother to get a new roll out! He did put a new roll on a week ago and I remember it well because I was shocked! The only reason he did it was because we were having company over otherwise it would have been sitting on the counter, floor or back of the toilet.

I dont remember when my husband put the toilet paper in its roller. He never bothers to do it and he is ok if i also didn't do it. But i want it to be in its place always.

Not all men are like this! My husband WILL put the roll back on the roller. Not only will he put it back on, but if I do it wrong (I go over, he goes under) he makes sure to tell me about it. (He has a few...shall we say...OCD tendencies!)
