Getting a new laptop

oh well, could someone give me a tip?
should I get the lap which've got 4gb ram and 2.4ghz processor 3mb cache, 2x 250gb sata hd
or
a 3gb ram and 2.5ghz processor 6mb cache, 1x 320gb sata hd?
gonna use it to play games, watch movies, etc~

Hm..I don't really like ATI. Burn out two ATI cards so now I'm using Nvidia. But based on 256MB VRAM on both machines, I'll get the the second one.
On a side note, if you are playing games you might want to downgrade to XP. New laptops are now sold with Vista as standard and it just isn't suited for playing games with all the compability issues.

do you have many applications opened at the same time? do you have an external hdd to backup your stuff to? what is the price difference between these two?
generally speaking, the second laptop has better specs for me. however, if laptop no. 1 is cheaper, i'll take that. both are good enough for playing games and watching movies. cheers ;p
