My Article was in the Hot Content!

Congrats :) Well, you already know me on Triond, so I'm not going to talk about how well or how badly I'm doing *cough* Regarding checking where your traffic comes from, you can use a backlink checker to search for backlinks to your article, to see a list of sites that link to your article. Some of the backlink checker sites also tell you how "important" a site that has linked to you is, so while you may not be able to get the exact figures of how much traffic a site is getting you, you should still be able to get a rough gauge.

Congratulations, Sydney! I have never had my articles appear in Hot Content, but have had my name appear in Hot Users and that was at the beginning when I was submitting at least one article a day. Like I said about Triond earlier, you really have to be consistently publishing in order to make money and be seen. I don't believe there is a way of tracking where the viewers came from. If you are on Facebook, you can connect Triond to that and your articles will appear at the bottom of your profile page so you could have gotten hits that way. If you post your articles here on myLot, like I do, for the sake of discussion of course, you get hits that way. And I also use my articles in my signature line of my email. If you have your own website, like I believe you do, then posting the links on there will get you hits. The other way is the use of tags. They are so important. When someone does a search for racoons, for example, my story about "Racoons in the Attic" may come out on top depending on the search engine. I can't believe you got more than 6,000 hits. That is unbelievable. Perhaps you have a lot of friends... and I don't. Keep up the great work.

Wow!!! Congratulations!!! Even if it's not in the hot content anymore, it's likely to keep on earning for you through and through! Yes, there are some triond contributors here. I submitted an article there too, and it has been earning very, very modestly, no waves, just the tiniest ripple. I don't know where the traffic comes from either. Have a lovely day!

Hey! I reccently got hot content as well, which is kinda really surprising... I'm sorta new at triond so I'm still figuring out things work there, how exactly do they choose the hot content list? Do they frequently pick the newer users so that they get seen more? Anyways I've seen your articles on triond and it's great! Have you got any advice for triond? I've only got one article so far haha

what is the site that you're talking about? How much have you earned here and and how much there.. is it worth spending time on that site??

Congratulations!!! And very well deserved! I found that article to be particularly helpful! Also, I just logged on to Triond and saw that you're still on the Hot Content list! So if you dropped off for a day or two, then you're back on! I only submit photos to Triond, so I've never made the Hot Content list (as I've only seen writing on that list... never any photos.) But I have had my photos featured on the front page of Picable.com several times, and I'm currently on the list of Popular Photographers on Picable as well!

Congrats! I write for Triond but have never come close to the Hot content. My articles haven't done well on there at all. I have something submitted to them right now and it's the first thing in almost two months. I hope you keep doing good with them.

Wow congratulations. I write at Triond too and I say it is good even though you earn a little at least they pay. My article is still to make it there and I hope it will.

i have not known this site. i don't know how easy or hard it is to write for this site. cause i am not a writer or have ever tried to submit an article. but i will like to try it out.

I'm new at triond too you know, and my articles have been rejected twice because the grammar things... lol, well what could I say, english not my first language, at least I can try to improve it by sending articles to triond, congrats to you :)
