I want to ask. But I can't.

We've all been there. You want to ask someone a question, but you don't know them quite that well enough to do so without making it look as though you are intruding. But let's pretend that today you can. What question are you going to ask and if you are really brave, who will you be questioning?

Oh my p1ke this is quite a loaded post this one! lol As you know I am very nosy ( I prefer to call it caring and supportive but others may see it as nosy) so I usually ask whatever I feel like when I am chatting to the person! lol The only thing I can think of right now is to ask David tenant to come live at our house - just for a day or two , not only would I love it but my kids would love me forever if I pulled it off! lol Sorry I know that isn't teh kind of thing you meant but it was all I could come up with, apart from asking you when you and The Boss are visiting Scotland! Hugs xxx

Your brand of caring and support is always welcome here Mummymo. If David agrees can Clare come too. She is besotted. Can't see why, but maybe that's just as well. We will be up as soon as we can. How's that for non-committal? Typically, when I was working I found myself in scotland quite often. Once or twice most years. Now of course the next town is a journey! LOL.

Hi plkeflsh,
When I saw you on your video, I was thinking you reminded me of someone I used to know but could not remember who and the this morning I had another look at you and then I knew who it was, it was my English teacher when I was in school many years ago, but I think you look cuter then my English teacher he he.

my bo was like that and it was really sweet actually he said to me one day when we were at the bar getting a drink can i kiss you and i was like sorry (we had known each other since we were 14 but we were just friends) and he just grabbed my hand pulled me outside and kissed me. I was quite surprised i can tell you but it took alot for him to do that he is very shy! You have a 50/50 chance honey do something like ask her for coffee or say you are going to the movies with a friend and ask her to come then just say your friend cancelled at the last minute. Good Luck

Hi P1kef1sh, I have been thinking all day since I first saw this posted and I really cannot think of anything or any question I would like to ask anyone but at the same time wanted to respond so I will ask you a question instead. How do you manage to think up such bizarre discussion questions? LOL. Ellie :D
@p1kef1sh (45681)

I've thought that about my discussions too Ellie. Maybe it's because I don't have a "regular" day like many others. Funny things don't happen to me at work like they do to others. I reminisce a little of course. Mostly though, I think that it has to do with the fact that I have a most bizarre mind and I can find something funny, peculiar, or sweet in just about any circumstance. I am a little odd too. I mean how many people do you know that deliberately set out to "persuade" one of their friends to wash out their mouths!!! LOL.

Yeah but it is those oddities that we love about you, whether having your mouth washed out with soap or being shackled and being hurt by toilet brushes you take it all in your stride with good humour, they have even had you prancing around in a bra here too, oh and I caught your YouTube video too, Nova is right SMILE! Are you meaning people in general, or myLot friends? Well, I don't have a particular question in mind, but when you've been on myLot a while and got to 'know' people, you do sometimes wonder what their real Christian names are. Obviously they're never going to reveal them, so one can't ask - but don't you find you have a mental picture of some of your myLot friends and wonder who's behind the screen name? I'm betting if we did know their names, some of them would be quite unexpected.

I mean anybody anywhere. Yes I do have those mental images too. Sometime I have been fortunate to peek behind the facade and discover what really lies there. Usually people are what they say they are. I've yet to come across some pot bellied bloke masquerading as a 22 year old girl. Mind you, that p1kef1sh bloke's a bit dodgy. LOL.

A p1kef1sh gives an impression of a very elegant aquatic creature. I would imagine him to have a nice, traditional British name. Or even something like Bartholemew or Montmorency. But closer to home, I would like to ask my husband why he always manages to drop gravy down his jumper ... what's with that?

hi pike...i would like to ask some family members, why are you so mean and cold so much? why don't you treat people better? do you think that you are so much better than everyone else that you can slice them all the time? but i dare not because they would not be nice about it would they.

Ok Pike, The person that I would like to ask a question of
would probably be myself. But, I've really asked myself the
question so many times already so it pretty much doesn't
matter anymore. I would like to know why it has taken me
my whole life to figure out what it is that will make me
truly happy. Well, since I still don't have the answer I
guess I will once again pass. Thanks for asking though!
Have a great day! I did so enjoy your video! Meows & Hugs &

Hi! I'd ask my neighbours exactly what it is they get up to in their bedroom of an evening because the noise that keeps me awake most nights is rather strange, it starts as the usual noises you might expect from the bedroom of a young couple and then changes to either uncontrollable laughter or a blodcurdling scream!! very intriguing! hehe who and what would you ask? xxx
@Munchkin547 (2778)

Yes it is rather irritating! When they keep me up really late and i am on an early shift i put my ghetto blaster against the wall when i get up at 5am and play them something like slipknot as loud as possible, if i have to survive with only a couple hours sleep because of them they can do it to!! haha probably not the best way to deal with the problem but banging on the wall doesn't work and i'm a grump in the morning! Hmm very interesting about your friend, maybe she is trying to hide that fact that she really lives in bognor regis or somewhere less glamorous, or perhaps she really really doesn't want visitors!!! it's a mystery!!! xxx

oh really well i have a couple of questions!!!
1) I would ask what my lesson is in life and if i'm on the right path to achieving it?
2) To someone in particular i would ask why she decided that i wanted to sleep with her boyfriend just because we had a close relationship, and what the hell she thought i was doing with ste if i wanted her boyfriend so much. Especially as i knew him and had plenty of oppertunities before she even met him but as explained on more that one occasion we were like brother and sister. I would ask why when i have been his friend for 11 years and stuck by him through thick and thin do we no longer speak? Why he did not clarify the situation to his girlfriend? and What exactly i am supposed to have done that is so bad they can't even sit with our friends when we are all together at functions. I would ask is he happy because if he is i can cope with the situation but i suspect that he isn't and feels trapped and i would ask if he thinks he was a good friend to me? and if he thinks he deserved the effort, friendship and trust that i gave for 11 years.
3) I would ask if he regrets it? I would ask which part of him was the true him because he showed so many sides to different people it made my head spin? I would ask why he was so nasty to ste when he made the decision to leave it unspoken and unclarified. I would ask was it all a lie? the things that he said and promised? or was he too scared to be with me because i knew alot more about him that he wanted to let on? I would ask him if he missed the closeness and friendshiop and if it was worth it? or was he happier with his "boys" pretending to be someone he's not? is that why you drink so much to numb the pain? does it hurt to see me happy with ste? i would ask do you know that everytime we see each other i still feel it but i also feel sorry for you because i can see the pain and the hollow existance and you have no one to snap you out of it and break you free.
ahhh thanks p1sh that was very theraputic lol

Maybe I will ask our President if I will be brave enough, what is she doing with all the war happening in our Country and it kills a lot of innocent kids and adult? [/i]

I'd ask My friend why she thinks its ok to make plans and then not bother to cancel them when she decides to not show up...or when she delays them and leaves me to sit and wait for her. I'd ask her why she doesn't think my doing something else while i wait or doing the same thing to her is totally wrong..but its ok to do that to me.
I'd ask my boyfriend why hes paying for cable tv, internet and phone in his old apartment when he's got a new house and isn't even there to use it.
I'd ask another friend if hes truly ok with the open relationship his girlfriend wants or..if it really bugs him more than he lets on when she sleeps with other men.

Well, these are people I thought I knew well. I would ask them why they lost contact with me and why they have rebuffed my attempts to contact them since that time. I think I have the right to ask, because I will tell you who they are. One is one of my siblings and the other is my best friend from when I was 15.

Hi there p1kef1sh
How do? Well my brother was married for 10 years and him and his wife never had kids. I assumed that either hey couldn't or they didn't want kids but I didn't ever feel it was my place to ask them. Well they got divorced and he has now married another who is expecting their first child in November so I guess my question has already been answered!! Actually I think his first wife made the decission that they didn't want children, she wore the trousers!!

I've wanted to ask someone out before, but I didn't think I knew them well enough for them to say yes.
I've also wanted to ask someone could I borrow 30p, as I couldn't afford to get the bus home, but I didn't have the guts to ask anyone, so I ended up having to walk for about an hour and a half to get home from where I was at the time!

I can remember that "shall I ask her or not" anxiety. That was a long walk for want of 30p. When I was at school my mum used to make me keep the price of my bus fare hidden in my school blazer just in case I ever lost my money. She'd check that it was there every day just in case I got the urge to spend it. One day I got mugged (we didn't call it that then) but they didn't get my bus money and so still got home. Up until that point I thought that she was daft!
