A few weeks ago I created a discussion about my monthly period which is actually driving me crazy..I can have it for four straight days and it will stopped for 3 days and I will have spottings after that. Now after my check-up with an ob-gyne I was told that she will have to observe for my period cycle bec. I know that having a migraine is normal for me and it's driving me nuts as well I also feel nausea, light headed and I can't walk straight bec. it's like I am walking in an unstable boat..do you get what I mean?Anyway I am already 34 years old and few years from now I will have my menopause and I am not afraid when that time comes but I didn't know that this hormonal imbalance is just normal for women. My ob-gyne actually laughed at me when I told her probably I am going to have my menopause already. She told me that it will still be early for me to experience it but do you also feel the same way I do?

I recently got off the Mirena coil and have started having periods again after not having them for 2 years. The week before my period I always think I'm pregnant (we are trying at the moment) because I always feel nausea and light headed, especially in the mornings. Now that this has happen three months in a row it seems to me it is a form of PMS but I never had it before so it was slightly concerning. I hope it lets up a bit for you, remember stress probably only agrivates it.

yup I guess it's just probably stress.I've been thinking a lot lately and I am facing a problem right now and I guess that contributes a lot to what I am feeling. Thanks for the post psychogirl202. pinksBEE

I am having a similar problem right now. I am having my first period after 10 months because I was on depo porvera and I feel light headed and easily distracted. I have low blood pressure and thought that was the cause of it but now I am not to sure. I never use to be like this at my time of the month but now I am...I will have to see if it is evey month and see what my doctor says.... thanks

I've not experienced this myself but one of my school friends was always very sick when she had her period. She would have a heavy flow for a bout a week and be dizzy and sick the whole time, when I say sick she would actually throw up. The doctor put her on the pill when she was fourteen or fifteen and this seemed to help her a lot, but I know it doesn't help everyone and in some cases it can make things worse. As for the menopause, it does seem very early to be worrying about this. I know she was a bit extreme but my great grandmother did not go through the menopause until she was 86. My grandmother and mother have both had hysterectomies so I do not know what age they would have naturally gone through the menopause. If your OB GYN is not immediately concerned about any underlying problems then I would try not to worry, after monitoring she may be able to suggest medication to make you feel better but in the mean time try not to let it stress you out as this will likely make you feel worse. Hope things get better for you.
