Don't yo think most stars look so fake when they thank everyone on receiving an award?
'I thank, my parents, my director, my co-star, God, etc..etc..'
They all seem the same, like they all went to the same school and learnt the same lesson.. What do you think?

Definitely gets boring, but I agree, they probably don't want to offend by leaving someone out.
Did you all see the acceptance speech from Golum for the second Lord of the Rings film? It was very funny, easily the most original awards acceptance speech ever and a lot more effort went in to it. Also, when Halle Berry became the first black femal actor to receive an Oscar. I think on her part the emotions were very real and very overwhelming but it was funny to see an accomplished actress, usually so composed and demure, just completely lose it. Well done to her though.

No..i did not see the speech you are talking about, but i did see Halle Berry. Actually i hated it how she was sooooo overwhelmed...sounded a bit too much...Then she's an actress, so she could be faking it...
Anyway if it's true that she did not fake it then God! She was so surprised and you are right she looked funny with her mouth all wide open!
Than you so much for your response :)

Yes, I hate the list of people they rattle down. Unfortunately, they all do it of fear that they might alienate somebody important in their life. It's been preprepared and practiced so they won't forget anybody. Good actors can even fake some emotion into it, lol.
