I am past the age where I can be considered a youth even if I do feel young. I went through in my younger years but I think the best ones were during my high school. Enduring friendships were made and memorable experiences were aplenty. I can still remember the times when we would all go out and climb trees or go to our classmates' houses. Sometimes we would attend fiestas or festivals. Then came our graduation day. It was fun and sad at the same time. But the impromptu graduation ball was a blast. There was a power failure and we had to search for a generator so that we can have music for our party. Our parents were there to prepare food for everybody. The policemen were also there to secure the place and make sure no outsiders will disturb our fun. The party lasted in the wee hours of the morning with the graduates dancing and eating while our parents and teachers had their own gabfest. How about you? What were the memorable moments of your youth?

...oh i think the kid within us, is the one who lets us enjoy life... so age doesn't matter.. and i can't forget my childhood days, and my play mates were my cousins.. we were so innocent, we would climbed the highest tree without thinking the danger it'll cause, take a swim on the river, and eat different fruits we could find...one time, my mother scolded me, coz i'd rather eat rice mixed with oil&soy sauce in my cousin's house than go home... its like time is not enough to us for we have a lot of things we want to do... phew!..

Life is to be enjoyed and definitely it's not the age that makes us old but rather our perception of life.

I cannot remember so much about the happenings in my youth. but there was one time in my life when i was still in college. i studied far from our home place and it will took me a couple of hours to reach home from the school. when i got home one night, there was trouble. my friends don't wanna talk to me. but when they can no longer hide the situation from me, so they were forced to talk. my best friend was the one who got in trouble with a group of friends from the other side of the community. and when i learned about it, i was so brave to go to the place of those guys. i wanted them to pay for what they did with my best friend. i smell war at that time. no one came out to face me, i was so angry at that time. but no one came out. then the authorities came, and calm me down. Hi diutay, Yes, I remember my day of leaving school, there were so much tears because we won't be seeing much of each other and we all signed each other school shirts and then we had a shool disco in the evening, it was great fun. I really enjoyed my youth. Tamara

The most memorable moments of my youth were the years I've spent as youth volunteer in YMCA. From there I have a long lasting friendship that grows and turns to different levels. Now some of us had finally gotten married and had children and yet we maintain the same friendship due to the happy and unforgettable experiences that we've shared over the years.

Having gone through similar experiences creates stronger bonds which can endure the tests of time.
