Many places sell kitten formula and baby bottles to feed them. But be prepared, if they are that young they still may not survive. I went thru the same thing last year and lost the whole litter. You will also have to feed them about every two to three hours. And, to stimulate bowel movements and such you will need to wipe them down gently with a warm wet wash cloth. This will simulate the mother licking them. At this young an age its the mother licking them that stimulates the bowel. If not done, the kitten can die.

I would call your local vets office and check. I think that you can feed them either milk or formula through an eye dropper. That is so sad that the mother got hit. We had that happen with our kittens once and were worried we'd have to feed them for her, but she ended up surviving somehow.

Please dont feed the babies regular milk! There is kitten formula that is available at walmart. Its not expensive. Eye droppers dont work either. I have raised over 12 baby kittens (not at the same time, thank God). I posted a "how to" further down this list. Granted, it can be hard work, but well worth the effort in the end.

Regular milk is not good for a kittens digestive system. You can get kitten formula from your local walmart, feed store, or grocery store. Regular milk detorates the kittens belly. Further down, I have a post with all you need to know. Please look over it before you continue to feed the babies regular milk.

Oliver and his bottle - Oliver about 10 days old
don't feed them cows milk - except as a temporary messure. They need kitten formula - your vet may have a milk replacer, or go to any pet store and get JustBorn or KMR and a little bottle for them. Good luck - I managed to keep a 7 day old kitten alive and he's all grown up now. Oh, and don't feed them on their backs like humans, they need to be on their tummys if possible.

Like the other person said, call up a vet as soon as possible. You'll need to feed them formula every couple of hours. Make sure they are kept warm. Try to get a few plushies for them to cuddle into so that they think their mother is there. Best of luck. It'll be hard work but worth it in the end!

As others have said, don't feed them normal milk. Cats in general aren't supposed to have it, because the lactose in it. Kittens in particular need special vitamins, minerals, etc in their formula that you cannot get from milk. Calling the local vet would be a good choice. Another option is to call one of your local No-Kill shelters. They should take the kittens, and take care of them until they are at an age they can either go to a foster home, or be adopted. If you don't want to do this yourself, or are concerned about the cost, then a No-Kill Shelter is a good choice. If you feel you can handle the obligations, then get them in to your vet for a check up. One thing people often forget with stray cats is that a mother cat can have any number of problems, like worms, fleas, or a viral infection or respiratory disease that can be passed on to the kittens. They might have been born with worms or something and the other two siblings couldn't survive it. If you're planning on keeping the kittens, they should have a full check up.

actually we are residing in a third world country, veterinary assistance and orphanage for cute little animals is kinda cost alot here. : ) that's why I took the responsibility in my own hands.. i was hoping that those poor little angels would live to see a better tomorrow ever if they have lost their mommy already at a very young and vulnerable age. I wish I could take care of them well.. got any advise on their diet? if ever you have any idea on how to nourish them well...

This is so fun, raising baby kittens. I have done it several times. No worries, my friend! All you need is a pet bottle (you can get these at walmart or sometimes a feed store has them), kitten formula (found in the pet section of walmart), a big needle (use the needle to pierce a tiny hole in the nipple of the bottle.) a blanket (so they can stay warm) and plenty of love. Try to advoid holding them for the first few days (unless your feeding them or cleaning them..will explain that in a second). Newborn kittens dont like cold milk! Try to keep their milk at room temperature. Store unused milk in fridge. (when warming the milk for feeding, pour into a microwave safe dish or cup for about 10 to 15 seconds. Carefully pour milk into bottle) let milk set out for 5 seconds before feeding to babies. Now..kittens cant go to the toilet alone. Thats why, when they are born, the mama cat uses her tongue. The Tongue is rough and slightly damp enough to encourage the kittens to potty. (please read on..DO NOT USE YOUR TONGUE!) All you do in this case, is dampen a paper towel or an old wash cloth to rub on the kittens bottom ends. This will encourage the kitten to urinate and produce stool. Be sure you hold the kitten over the toilet or, you can do this outside. When Kittens sleep, if the mother cat is not present a tiny stuffed animal (maybe an old stuffed cat, dog or bear) will help the kitten to sleep. (I learned this from a vet) Be sure to feed the kittens every two to three hours. After feeding, be sure to encourage your kitten to toilet with the paper towel or old wash cloth. As you can see, I have done this several times. I also found that when I played soft music (not rap or heavy metal..but more like classical, jass, christian and country) the kittens seem to develop faster with their behavior. Remember ALL kittens are born litter trained! You have to provide a litter box and litter if you want them to be indoors when the kitten has his/her eyes open and is walking well. That age ranges from 6-8 weeks.

hi urcheekyangel don't get panic just handle them coolly and lovingly now what they need is only love ,affection and food so daily give them some milk and feed them rice mixed with milk they will love to eat it and do not overlook them at all because i have read somewhere that cats are very lucky animals

never mix rice with milk..I recommend you stick with the kitten formula. Kittens can choke on rice and they can choke on the pureed rice as well. Yes, cats are very lucky animals. And if you're considering declawing the kittens as they get older, I recommed that you use a regular nail clipper and just clip the edges of the claws. This way, if at a later date, you decide the kittens should be outdoors, the claws will grow back. (When clipping claws, be extremely careful. I try to clip my kitten and my cats claws every 4-6 weeks)
