How do you keep busy when you're seperated from your significant other?

My husband is in the Army, so we can't always be together. I have three kids that keep me busy enough. But when he's gone, I really refocus my efforts more so that I am working on my home business all the time (which involves my handmade goods). I find I have a hard time sleeping while he's not here, so I stay up late creating things. I need to keep my mind busy for the most part. When, and if, I need a little break from that, I read a book or rarely sit on the porch and just watch the world go by (as this gives me time to think). We live in a quiet neighborhood, and I enjoy just sitting and relaxing a bit, but when the mind kicks in, I get up and get to work.
So what do you do to pass the time when your significant other is not around?

Well, my husband is here every evening so I just have to keep myself busy during the day. I usually do mylot when my kids aren't demanding my time. My husband might be traveling to Russia to help build stuff there with his job so I'll have to keep myself busy for 2 weeks. It will be weird and I'm sure I'll worry the whole time. He's never been out of the US before, neither have I. I couldn't imagine having a husband in the army. I don't think I could handle it. My husbands brother is in the army and he is currently in afganastan for his 3rd time. He has been there more than he has been home since his kids have been born. If you liked to play games, I find that www.pogo.com fills the time too.
