Yes, this did happen to me. When I was 15 my husband I were dating. My parents decided to move to Florida. I had to go along. Kept in close touch with the guy I loved so dearly. We came back home to Missouri after only 3 months. During this 3 month period, I spoke often to my husband and we wrote letters alot. We became engaged 5 years later and married 2 years after the engagement. So it was a rough start at first because we were so far apart. It wasn't easy.

Hi Cher, Yes I did actually but it will probably sound like a crush at the beginning but let me share. I was twelve years old and I had gone to the local youth club and a guy arrived there and it was immediate I really want to be with this person, he was 17, obviously I was far too young and idolised him and lived for Tusedays and Thursdays at the youth club when I got to see him. I became friends with his sister just so I could be near him and eventually when I was nearly sixteen he noticed me, or perhaps allowed himself too, we were together from then until I was twenty three on and off but I had loved him from afar all those years befor he finally asked me out. Years later we bumped into each other and it was still there but our lives had taken different direcions but recently I know he has asked about me through a mutual friend. The loves still remains after all these years. I am 45 now, but married someone else, single again but the past is the past and I don't think we were ever supposed to be ogether longer than we were then. Ellie :D

I don't remember ever feeling that way. Maybe as a young girl I may have but it didn't impress on me enough to remember. xooxxoxoxoo

I havent except for crushes like when I was a kid. I havent had too many of them in my adult life so not recently. I probably wouldnt tell the person unless I was pretty sure they were going to reciprocate. I think it would be very embarassing for both me and the person if I said something, and they barely knew who I was.

Hello My answer is yes I have liked or loved someone from afar . Later it turned into a nice friendship . I suppose we all get kinda those crushes and are shy at first and wanna get to know them in a setting . I had a crush on an actor in my theater class and we slowly got to know one another and be friends . Then there is this case with the ballplayer but that is too bitter sweet to talk about ! Best advice is to be bold ,because you just never know what could be !
