Love before marriage on life

do you think love is required before marriage, because i see few people succedded but many failed. And those failed,seiously losted days/years somebody even lifes... so i feel friendship is better than love before marriage in life

For me I have to be friends with the person before I can love him. If there is no friendship I don't see how love can happen.
