Its happening with me since I was kid. Whenever I see any successful sports person, I try to copy them and be like them.
At that age I was not able to make out the reason, I wanted to be like them.
But now whenever I see any sports person like Tiger Woods, David Beckhem, Sachin Tendulkar, I always wish to be like them. Its because of the Passion the way they take their game. The fame they have gained being successful, the money they have earned being successful.
But I can understand that its not that easy to be at that stage, it takes a tonnes of hard work and luck to reach even near to them.
How about you? do you feel like that? Are you motivated by a successful sports person, to go for that particular sports?

It never worked that way for me. I did have favorite players and I did want to play their sports but I didn't want to be them. Watching say Roy White of the Yankees, I wanted to play for the Yankees but not left field and the only thing I wanted to be like Roy in was his class. I wanted to play either right field or third base.
I admire great players but don't want to be like them as much as I wish I had the chance to play their sport as a pro.
