Are You Successful With Adsense?

I am new on the Adsense learning curve, and so I am curious if there are any adsense veterans out there who have done well for themselves using google adsense. What strategies have you employed? How well have they worked for you?

Very poor expericne with it more than 6 months and i got not even crossed the halfway for the first payment.
