To protect your fine furniture from scratches and nicks, wrap a wide rubber band around both ends of the television remote control. You'll be protecting that remote too.It will be less likely to slide off the table and be damaged.
Do you have this problem with your remote control?

That is a nice idea. The falling is not a problem because of the carpet. The problem is losing it's cover and and batteries.I tried wrapping it also with plastic but it's no use.My naughty kids particularly the youngest will just remove anything on it.Would you believe all our remote control doesn't have any cover. And by now no more batteries as well-because the 6 yr old brother uses it in his game station

This is a good advise because our remote control
in the house always meet an accident. Someone would
always drop it and I think it would land soon in the
repair center or the worst part I have to buy a new
remote control. Thanks for the info.

Oh yes dear, that is a great idea. I sometimes will reprimand my son for being so careless with the remote. Our center table would sometimes get scratches because he would be so careless in handling remote control. I thank you dear for giving me this good idea. I can always cushion the remote but why only now that I realized. Ha!ha!ha!

Nice tips. We have two remote controls and they collect much dust that is hard to clean. My little babygirl likes to play them on her hands too. You remind me of wrapping them lol.

What a great idea! I sometimes drop the remote losing the back and then the batteries fall out. That is such a pain, since the batteries usually go rolling underneath something and you have to crawl on hands and knees to find them. I will try this and see if it helps. Best wishes!
