I grew up in the 60's. Lot of things going on back then, civil rights movement, women's liberation, etc. And I thought that was great because I was a smart girl and I didn't want to be treated like I was less than any of the boys. But I kept running into this attitude, mostly from the other kids' parents. "Girls don't do that." "Girls don't act like that." Oh yeah? Well I'm a girl and I'm doing that and acting like that! Anyway do any of you still run into that sort of thing?
