A good way to spend MyLot money

First, the obligatory disclaimer:
This post is in no way meant to point a finger at any specific MyLot user. It is simply an opinion.
Perhaps some of the MyLot faithful should invest some of their earnings in literacy classes. I am amazed sometimes at the lack of basic grammar skills here. I have attempted to read posts that were so garbled it was nearly impossible to follow the thread. A typo here or there is one thing. Rampant misspelling is another.
I think it is shameful that our country is so plagued by illiteracy. Our school systems have done a poor job.
Spokesman out.

If you were to read Mylot guidelines under discussions you would have seen this under the DO NOTS:
Post discussions, responses or comments criticizing members for bad/broken English or bad spelling. Everyone is welcome at myLot, we have users from all around the world and they are welcome regardless of their proficiency with the English Language.

If you were to have paid close attention to my post you would have noticed the disclaimer at the very beginning, put there in anticipation of a response like this one.
Nice try.
By the way, my MyLot friends, it's pretty easy to distinguish between errors attributed to lack of proficiency in a certain language and errors attributed to stupidity. I think we all can spot the difference.

I guess I will take this a little more seriously. How is it our school's problem if the parents are not there to help their child. Why is it the teachers fault if johnny doesn't do his homework and does poorly on his exams. it is not the school's fault. The parents need to be held responsible for their child's education. I do believe though that the way society has let go the proper way of writing is uncalled for. The pen is mightier than the sword is one of my favorite sayings.
