I take care of my nails really well. I clean them and cut them if they get too long. So why are they turning yellow? Only my right hand's fingernails' are like that, not my left hand.

Nails turn yellow for a few reasons. The first is a fungal nail infection, but your nails would be thick also.
Painting your nails with a black polish can stain them yellow, but seen this is only on the one hand that is unlikely.
Illnessess can cause yellow nails are, diabetes, can cause yellow nails. Abnormalities of the lymphatic system and lung disease can cause it also. Do you have any serious coughing or respritory symptoms also? There is also a syndrome called yellow nail syndrom. Check these out on the internet. If you are unwell see a Doctor.

Thanks! But my nails are back to normal. I'm sure it was because of nail polish.

Nope. I wouldn't even go near a smoke in my whole life. I am only 16, I am not even old enough. I would never even think of smoking. But thanks anyways.
