Well, during your day, you have to face with a lot of different kinds of people, with different ways of acting, different habits, etc. For the most of them, you simply live with it. But there are some of them that just.. annoys you!
I'll quote an example: today, I was lunching in the restaurant, and, well, you have to eventually share a table with somebody. But today, the person that was in my table was chewing so loudly that I could hear that! And, c'mon, that's a disgusting thing to hear while you're eating.
So, what annoys you most?

People without any patience. Immature of people to throw a fit because they cannot get what they want when they want it. An example would be....I am taking a food order at the bar in the lounge where I work and another gues interrupts because he needs change for a dollar. How rude can one be? Wait until I am finished with the guest in front of me who was there first you immature brat. Same with people who want to curse ticket agents at the airport because their flight is cancelled and the list goes on....

It does take a lot of patience dealing with the public all the time. At the end of the week I start hating people and all of us bartenders complain loudly to one another about how rude people can be.....but we stay in the business of serving and laugh all the way to the bank!!! Tips are great when you are a pro with 25 years experience.

Wow, 25 years serving people? Congratulations, that's much time doing the same thing!
I suppose you like it a lot, then. ^^
Thanks for posting. =)

The thing about the food order is the typical example of selfish person: "It doesn't matter who's around me, I want MY things done, I don't mind if I'll have to pass over somebody".
Gosh, you must have such a patience to deal with those..

I live in a rural area and our postman delivers our mail to our mailbox. I have this old very loud neighbor who doesn't work any where he and his old friends sits on the porch and picks and annoy everyone they can. I hate to go to the mailbox if they are on the porch. They will make some kind of unwanted remark. I look outside and if he is not on the porch I hurry to the mailbox. Sometime when the mood hits me I am ready for them. And it is on then.

Argh, people that LIKES to annoy! That's even worse! I suffered a little bit of it while I was on school..
But then, how do you react when you are in the mood of doing so? 'Cause you are just one person, and they are in many..

There are several things that annoy me but most of the people I can live with but some are just to hard to ignore, for example me and my fiance were with one of my brothers to pick up his check from Wal Mart and we were standing with him in line to cash his check and the cashier decided she would be rude and say That she was only cashing checks and basically to get out of her line, she was out of bounds as we were not trying to purchase anything.

In fact, rude people is kind of an annoying thing.. You try to be as polite as you can and, then, there are some people that pratically ignore any rule of politeness and pass over you..
I just wanted to know how this kind of people feel when they are victim of the same thing they do..

I get annoyed by a lot of things. One thing that annoys me is when a person does something that they realize is annoying, and continues to do it for that reason. I usually pretend that nothing bothers me, because I hate when people repeat actions that are annoying on purpose. I am sure that I have a larger list, but I get annoyed when people chew with their mouth open, or often ask me to repeat myself.

That's more like a "childish" thing. My brothers do this to me all the time.. Ignoring is the best, so, maybe, they see how childish they're acting like.

Ew that sounds pretty offputting that would annoy me too! I think the thing that i find most annoying about people when i'm out and about is how rude some of them are, like when you are walking down the street and someone walks into you and doesn't stop to say sorry, or when you buy something in a shop and the cashiers don't even break in their conversation to acknowledge you while they take your money - that one really really annoys me!! i really don't like it when you smile at someone and they scowl back at you, it's just plain rude and there's no need for it, if everyone was a little more polite and nicer to eachother we'd all probably feel a little bit better!!! xxx

hehe! i try to respond to my friend's discussions as much as i can! I know, whe nyou say sorry to somebody and they still scowl at you, even though you haven't done anything wrong really is very annoying!! I think people are perhaps just having a bad day but i don't think there is ever really any excuse to be rude to people you don't even know!! Oh well, guess we can't change people but i know that i always try to be polite!! xxx

Always replying to my discussions, Munchkin547! How nice of you. =)
And yeah, saying "sorry" is such a simple thing, and makes us really happy!
Another thing that's annoying, related to what you said, is people that, when you say "sorry", keep their face the same way as if you didn't say that.. This leaves me without knowing how to act..

The thing that annoys me the most is a person who pretends to know about everything, yet doesn't know much at all. My niece's boyfriend is like that.
A quick example, includes him telling me how high performance his uncle's computer is, how it needs a special dsl modem because gaming on it wears out a regular dsl modem too quickly, and that his uncle has bought lots of "rams" for it. LOL
It doesn't matter the subject, this guy is an expert on it.

There is always that annoying person who wants to "one up" you. No matter what you have seen or done, he has seen or done MORE. The lying gets worse and worse until you cannot believe anything that person says. Annoying and a waste of my time.

But you know what's nice to do about this kind of people? Try to make his/her give up, by proofing that you know more.
Believe me, it can be fun. :D

Oh, the "Mr. I know everything"! That's VERY annoying!
This kind of person also have another tactic: he/she waits for you to say the right answer, and then agree, to pretend that the answer was already obvious to him/her!

Meh, repeating things! I'm the kind of person that speaks really fast, so I'm kinda used to do that! Annoying!
And about rude and sarcastic people, I also have to live with it.. Some of the people I work with doesn't seem to know the word "education"..

One thing that annoys me most is stress in any form. I tend to be a beast too easily. Patience is not in my vocabulary when I'm in the middle of a stressful situation but I tend to changed it because it brings more harm than good. I tend to learn to be cool when I'm in between pressures.

Yeah, by own experience I can say that stress only generates stress.
I know that sometimes it's hard to be patient, but taking a deep breath and calming down sometimes can make things much more simple. =)
Well, I'll not lie: I'm not a patient person also.

Yeah I agree with you on the whole chewing thing its so disgusting i also hate it when they chew with their mouth open and lets face if you can hear them chewing they more than likely talking with a full mouth too.
Well the thing that annoys me a lot is to see people not taking care of their kids, I mean to say when you see a little kid wandering throught the restaurant by himself looking a mess and making a mess and his parents just sit there totally ignoring him.Thats what really bugs me.

I have an example of the "kids issue" in the place I work: one of the persons I work with sometimes have to bring her kid along.. But she doesn't take care of him.. Just leave him running around and so, and it distracts everybody!
And about the "mouth open issue", I really wanted to know if people doesn't notice they're doing it, 'cause sometimes looks like they are really meant to chew like this!

Avoid restaurants. Pack you lunch from home. Use your office space. Eat slowly and relax for a while after you eat. when you are in your own private space or with like minded people who share the same views, food digests properly and you body gets all the nutrients. best way is to avoid people or places that annoys you. simple.
