Children are hilarious. My son is 15 almost 16 months old. So last night, we were getting ready to go to bed. I told Evan (my son) to give daddy a kiss goodnight, he did of course) then joking to see if he would (cause he was playing with his dads chest) I told him to kiss daddys belly button. All of a sudden, Evan goes a little lower and grabs onto his "package" instead. I started laughing so hard I couldnt breathe. Evan, on the other side of the bed now, sees us laughing and he starts laughing to... in this weird laugh that he does when he is trying to mimic you and pushing his head backward on the bed, which in turn was making him laugh even more (he literally almost fell off the bed he was doing it so much). Then he gets off the bed and starts doing the laughing thing again, except he is standing this time. He just wasnt stopping either (I think it was due to being overtired) Do you guys find this funny or is this something that only a mother can enjoy cause I was laughing so hard I was crying... so was his dad.

That's really funny! Children are indeed our little bundle of joys. How I wish I have a little one again in our home. Little ones really don't mind about those funny things we older one thinks are. To them those were just ordinary things and even laughing to them are just part of their play, thus when they laugh it turns out to be ...innocent laughs! Enjoy you kids coz they will only be like those once so take the most of them and if you can, capture those happy moments in say pictures or cams. They will be your treasures.

Hi Seasons, this is the second time you have made me laugh tonight LOL. I did find that funny but I am a parent myself so can understand. In fact earlier today my daughter phoned and my four year old was in one of his serious moods and wouldn't talk to her on the phone so I said to him ok then but don't you dare smile, and his face quivers as he tries to stop it and his dimples begin to show and then he is in a full belly laugh and the more I say don't laugh the more he giggles, we used to use this to diffuse the temper tantrums when two but it works now too. I started a discussion after I read about the toddlers going into the kennel called 'I just wet myself' so I am laughing even more now at some of the replies from that. Ellie :D

Okay, my first question is does your son know the difference between Dad's belly button and what's beneath it? Secondly, I think it's cute that he likes to laugh so hard. I've always had this thing that when something hits me really funny, it's really hard for me to stop laughing even when my stomach and sides hurt from laughing. Of course, I got teased as a kid for smiling too much by a kid at school. And one of my co-workers got annoyed that I laugh so much. People can really be weird to get offended by someone who smiles or laughs a lot. Unbelievable. I think I prefer being a person who smiles and laughs a lot than someone who is always a sour puss. So, I think it's great that your son likes to laugh! It's a good trait!

Well, he'll get the hang of everything. Just don't tell him to kiss Daddy's belly button in public. You might get a bit embarrassed. Hee Hee Hee I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who likes to smile! It makes life a lot better, doesn't it?

It is really funny story.:) babies are all sweet and innocent. Here I share myself a small funny story with you and mylotters when I was the same age as your son.it was told by my father that eveytime when my parents visited our relative or my parents' friends with me.If there were something I found in their home same as my home.I always tried to bring it with me.because in my small mind,it was mine, not their. If I was not allowed to take it,I would heavily cry until I forgot it.LOL! Have a nice day!

lol. I know how that goes... you see something you have at home, you automatically think its yours and you want to take it back home with you lol. I had to take evan's toys to my moms so when we went over there if he took a toy, it was okay for him to bring home lol

haha that must have been a funny sight to see, for a second I thought it said "15 almost 16 YEARS old" so I had to look up and make sure I was reading it correctly hahaha. Those moments you share as a family are so precious, you guys seem very happy, and that is really sweet to know . It's funny when you see babies laughing, they don't really understand it quite yet, so they tend to mimic you, and they get a little carried away with it haha. You should clarify what a belly button is to him though, you don't want any mistakes to come up later, or do you? haha Have a great day, and happy mylotting as well!

yeah he is (from what the doctors say) a pretty smart kid. I think doctors just say that to you to make you feel good lol. thats funny that everyone saw YEARS not MONTHS... something would be wrong with my family if I was telling that to a 16 year old lmao!!

To every mother, her boys or girls are just so interesting and beautiful! That's the great of mother's love, which is nearly the greatest things in this world even in the whole universe. I am a daughter, a not so good daughter. I broke down with my mother because of my boyfriend lately, which make me so regret now. I wish that all the not so good daughters and sons can think more for their mothers, in which way we can learn more about life and love.

the worst of daughters/sons can always go back and talk to their parents... thats the nice thing about parents - they will always be there for you. Thanks for the post!!

Hi Seasons! You have really posted a hilarious story! Hope you all nice times with your children. The thing is that kids are always naturally mixed with rational and irrational habits. The combination of both the two makes for us a hilarious situation many times with our kids! Really an enjoyable thing with little kids as I have enjoyed such things many times when my children were of that age group. Thanks for your nice topic!

Anybody who is a parent and has been through the 'laugh-til-you-cry' thing, it's hysterical. It doesn't matter the situation, when the baby gets up that laugh that he can't stop, it's cute so you're laughing too, and he's hysterical, tears are pouring out, then they can't get their breath or balance, so that makes it funnier... Yup. Been there!! I don't care what anyone else says- that's funny!!
