Do you think that it's becoming a recent phenomenon that more and more kids are becoming obsessed (to the point of insanity) over video games (especially portable ones)?
I see more and more kids carrying around PSPs and Nintendo DS and it's pretty sad how they're so engrossed in it. No wonder we have child obesity and other health problems...
Seriously, I feel that kids (and if they can't parents) need to curb down the time played on video games. Let kids be kids again, let them go play outside and actually learn stuff without killing their eyes and bodies over video games.

Yes I agree it does seem like kids are getting addicted to video games especially portable handheld ones, but I do not think it is a big problem as long as they take it in strides, and I agree parents need to monitor their kids playing video games and set time limits for when they are allowed to play and for how long, and I admit I myself am addicted to video games, but I was taught only to play them for a couple hours and then do something else, and now me and my fiance only play video games when we are taking a break from mylotting.
