What are the stars in myLot for?

I have been on mylot for like five months and I have learned that the color and number of the star is your reputation on mylot and your reputation goes up when people rate you positively and it goes down when people rate you negatively and the higher reputation you have,the more likely people are to look at your discussions,and I am not sure if there is a glossary,but right now I am at a 10 blue star which is the highest you can get,and I am fighting to keep it.

so reputation point is like a meaning less point? shame

Yep, it comes from the your quality replies. MyLotters are generous enough to give people a + rating, who have helped them in a discussion. So I guess posting helpful replies would make your rating number higher. It doesn't matter how many posts you have, it's the quality, not the quantity. I hope that helped. ^^
