Vote as best reponses? What do i get from it?

My questions may be duplicated from many discussions but i have screen through the answers and yet to find a very definite answer regarding obtaining a BR-Best responses.
I would like to know:-
1. How much do i earn from getting a BRBR?
2. How much my popularity will increase?
3. What other things I will gain from getting a BR?

I have been on mylot for about five months now and I have heard some things about best responses I am not completely sure but it seems that for each best response you get you make a little extra money,just like I have heard if you respond to discussions with no responses you make a little extra,I do not think it increases your popularity though,since you reputation only goes up when people rate you positively,and I do not think you gain anything else when you get a best response from someone.

I do not think anyone knows how much you earn for getting a best response but I wish we did,and you are more than welcome for the response,I am always happy to try and help people,and I hope that if I respond to peoples discussions they will respond to mine,and I hope my response was helpful,have a great day,good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.

I don't know whether the best response earn anything or not but whenever i get a best response i feel great. I don't think best response earns any money. But it makes you feel better & motivates you to give more responses which will earn more response.

I have myself observed that for every best response you get your earnings go up by at least a cent. And that amount is automatically added to your account when some one choses your response as the best. Your popularity will not be affected by this, maybe to the persons who choose your answer as best response.
I do not think there is anything else that you might benefit from this apart from the extra cents you get.

I don't really mind if there are additional earnings on BR. I'm just thankful if someone appreciates my response. If there are additional earnings, well that is good for me.

wow! then maybe i should choose best responses from now on! I really don't pick best response at all. Its not that i am not satisfied, I just couldn't pick any response that would really impress me...

i'm pretty sure you don't receive anything extra from a best response, although it would be nice if we did. The satisfaction comes from being chosen by the discussion starter,especially if he or she received a lot of responses and chose yours from all the rest.
As far as popularity goes,a best response has nothing to do with it,your star rating is chosen by other Mylotter's who rate your discussions positive or negative and of course the higher your star rating means the more positive votes your discussions or responses are getting.
