Do you get a headache when it rains?

Some people get sleepy when it rains or depressed.
Not me, I get headaches.
Guess it's all the humidity or heat.
Wish the rain would bring some relief, but it doesn't.
Thank goodness for Tylenol. Can't imagine how I would have
survived in the 1800's without it!
Do you get headaches when it rains?
How does the rain affect you?

I hope Tylenol hasn't any side effects. I believe every medicine have some kind of side effects to human body. You must check this out with a doctor. I love rainfalls but I am scared of heavy storms as they cause destruction and loss of human lives. I don't have any headaches whenever it rains. I just love sleeping, eating pototo chips fried whenever it rains with tomato ketchup.

I do get headaches/migraines too when it rains..Moreso, if it rained just for a little while and the heat is back...it's the sudden change of weather that makes it so bad for me...because all the heat in the street are rising and i can even smell it..Sometimes makes me puke..So, what i do is, when i see it's raining, I drink a glass of cold water..i dont know why or dont have any scientific explanation for that..I just discovered it and so i do that everytime...

Rain always makes me feel good and gooey. Just yesterday, it rained so hard that my daughters and I decided to play in the rain. We donned shorts and tanks and played in the rain. We went outside and run around our neighborhood. There were also lots of children running around playing in the rain and we really had lots of fun. I always love the rain and it never ever gave me headaches.

I am sorry to hear that. Fortunately I have never experienced headache. Is it related to the rain? I am not sure. Perhaps you need a rest. The rain just gives me a bad mood because I can't go out and everything seems inconvenient. It disturbs my plan.

I don't get a headache because of the rain, but I do get a headache when we get a schnook in the winter. It has to do with air pressure. I live in Calgary and in the winter we get theses winds with great air pressure that blow in warm and that is called a schnook. It can go from 30 below to 20 above in one day, and visa versa. Anyways, when one is just starting to blow in, I get a headache and that is how I know the schnook is coming in a day or two. I really don't mind one of those hearaches as, when I take some advil it goes away pretty quickly. I may get it again later in the day but then I just take my advil again and the headache is gone. Once the schnook is actually here the headaches stop.

I get a headache around my right eye and on the right side of my head, even in the back, before it rains. It stops when the rain stops. I sure am glad.

We were really lucky not to have suffered
too much real damage in our area.
But I hear some other spots were hit by the storm
pretty bad.
Internet connections are real hit and miss
in this area.
But I'm using Mozilla, so my connection seems
to be pretty good even when the modem doesn't want
to connect.
I don't know why.

Sometimes I get sleepy when it rains. I always sleep very well in the rain.
When there is a storm front coming through and causing changes in the barometric pressure I usually get pretty severe headaches. But little rain showers don't cause me headaches, thank goodness.
In the 1800's you probably would have known about some root or herb you could chew on to help your headaches.

Headache on Rain, just not possible for me. In rain I get romantic and start singing melodious songs and everything looks so pleasant. If I am at home when it raining, I try to get a bath in rain along with my children at the roof of my house and its so enjoying to have a tea and snacks after you have taken a bath in rain. Yes, some time after I take a long bath in rain, I get a headache, but thats my fault of bathing too much in rains. Anyway rains are very beautiful and romantic for me. I try to rease my wife in a romantic mood.

No I do not get a headache either, I just get miserable and moody. Especially seeing as UK has had a crap summer YET again with more rain than sunshine. I would not be surprised if the amount of depression cases rises due to the horrible weather here again.

Rain in my home country dampens my spirits. It has been a sunny day and after on the way home from my local town's beach it began raining. It gave me a headache for a short time. I felt better when I got home and drank a glass of fruit juice. I felt sad that my dogs didn't want a walk in the rain. They also prefer dry weather. This summer in my home country has been cool and rainy most of the time. We have only had a few warm and sunny days that have been dry. All this rainy weather leaves me wishing for a holiday to a hot country.

No I don't get a headache but when I first sprained my ankle years ago, I'd get a dull ache when it was about to rain. Hubby would call me the weather lady when it would happen and sure enough, it would rain! lol Now it doesn't do that anymore which is a good thing because it did hurt! Now I'd get all sleepy eyed and it would be so hard for me to stay awake.

Living in the desert as I do, we don't get that much rain. If we get rain in the summer, UGH! I just get all sweaty and run down feeling from all the heat and humidity. If it rains in the winter I just feel like staying in bed all day and sleeping. No headaches from the rain though. Since aspirin didn't come around until 1899 I guess people back then just suffered with it

I would have been one of those people in the 1800's
sampling all the local roots and herbs in the
nearby woods for relief.
I've always been into that kind of stuff.
I would have had a thriving business too
with local towns folk.
There are folk remedies for everything.
I've heard that blue cohash can even induce labor.
Guess that's what the olden time days people used
when a pregnant women couldn't go into labor.
Don't know if it really works though.

I only get lots of sinus pressure and headaches when there's a thunderstorm brewing. Especially early in the season. It actually can bother me so much I feel restless and can't relax until the thunderstorm has reached it's full intensity (and then I feel relieved). There are such things as human barometers . . . people who can sense the energy or electricity of the atmosphere. Perhaps you are a human barometer?
