Washing and cleaning of Double Heavy Blankets is a very hard job. It can not be washed by a single person. Lot of labor is required. Lot of water is required. My wife has been keeping this job pending due to rains. We were waiting for a sunny day preferably Sunday. Last year it took us whole the day to wash and clean Two Heavy Blankets. Washing of Heavy blankets requires a first Big Tub to drench the blankets in washing powder. We have to rent in from a Tent House. Really it is very tiring job. I have to cooperate my wife in this process. Secondly it can not be spinned in the washing Machine. It can be in a clear Sunshine.
Today we started the process in morning at about 6 and could hardly finish the washing by 11. This is very hard job.
How do you wash your blankets please discuss.

Blankets, quilts etc I take them all to the dry cleaners, it doesn't cost too much money but it worth it so i don't have to spend the time washing them and moving them around the house to keep trying to get them dry.

hello! that is a tough job! personally, i don't wash them myself. i usually drop them to dry cleaning or laundry station and pick them afterwards. it is because i think it'll be more practical that way than have them washed myself. i mean the electric cost of the washing machine while spinning them 'round, the amount of water i will be using to rinse them couple of times and the exhaustion it brings afterwards, OMG, i will definitely have someone do the washing for me. Cheers!
