Why would some people get addicted to gambling?

I, personally, never liked gambling. I find it a waste of time and money. I would rather spend my time with my family or earning a living than rather than spend my money with gambling and gamblers. I knew at lot of people who got addicted to gambling and lost their properties and even ended with losing their families. I even hate to see children playing with cards or whatever kind of gambling materials. I truly hate gambling and gamblers!

it is because the motivation is very active, the chalenge and the impact per game, evendu how rich you are but you will always addicted with it.

And the frustration of getting broke wouldn't be enough motivation to stop gambling?

my dad is so addicted to a c0ckfight. I sometimes get mad at him especially if he always lose. I sometimes ask him that, if you do lose, but why can't you stop, so that you wouldn't lose more money. he keeps on telling me that he just wanted to get back the money that he loses, so he always try and try and became more addictive to it.

I have always enjoyed gambling. I have not been to a casino in a while but I really enjoyed going to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. I would win big sometimes. It is all just in good fun.
I am not addicted to it and I know some people can acquire a bad addiction. But I have always known enough just to go for a good time and know when to quit.
