do you feel bad when you make mistakes?

because i do. and i know it's being hard on myself but i can't help it. i won't describe myself as a perfectionist but i just don't like the feeling when i do something wrong. i ask of common mistakes.
like in my case here at myLot, i OFTEN forget to attach pictures in my discussions which could've hugely helped in getting responses and i OFTEN put my discussions in wrong categories by mistake.
do you know i feel really bad about those honest mistakes? yeah, i'm crazy. no big deal, you say. everyone makes a mistake, we're humans. I KNOW. as i mentioned above, i can't help it. makes me think my job as a proofreader before was perfect for me, as that job allows me no liberty of making a mistake (but of course, i got too bored and switched to writing instead:p)

I am not a perfectionist person but I'll get upset when I make a mistake! It's not just in writing I'm talking about everything! But sometimes we can't help it! I made a lot of mistake here in my writing because English is my second language but I am doing my best to better it!

Well, we do often make mistakes every now and then but, there are times that we should really do make up for some mistakes that we make, often those that really affected other people involved.
If its just a small mistake that no one else got involved in, I would just take it lightly to myself since no one else got bothered with the mistake I did. If it was something big and also bothered other people, I would definitely be upset about it. Of course, I would try my best to make it right again before it grows into a bigger disappointment.. (-_-")

I don't think anybody in the world like making mistakes. But they'll always be a part of your life. Just accepted it and keep on move.
You can't let a little mistake as forgetting a pic on the topic make you feel bad.
Live with it
Laugh at it
Learn from it

Yea..but oftentimes I will learn from the mistake and do good or be more careful next time! I have done a lot of mistakes in my work and life and I am learning from it! As long as I will not repeat the same mistake, I can still afford to smile!

yes i do feel bad about making mistakes. it is worse when i know i could have done better. sometimes i'll spend hours thinking about how i can make such stupid mistake. most times i'd be extra careful to not commit the same mistake ever again. so now i'm very careful in things i do. i check twice and again to make sure that there are no mistakes. cheers ;p

i feel bad and sometimes i feel stupid. specially when i come to realize that it was a very easy thing to do and still i made a mistake. sometimes my wife just laugh and i laugh too then i feel better. i make it a point to learn from my mistakes and making it sure that i made it okay the next time around

I feel bad even I make a tiny mistake for careless. I would like to do every thing perfectly and I will do my best to try. If it is beyond my ability and I fail, I don't feel too bad. But if I make mistake only because I am not careful, I will regret and feel bad for a long time.

I HATE making mistakes. It makes me feel bad too. Then so often, I will make one mistake and feel so bad about it that I make another one. It drives me up a wall when I make a mistake, I try not to think about it, but I can't help it. It becomes all I think about for awhile, then finally I realize that I am only human and mistakes are a natural thing...until the next mistake comes along! I know how you feel, its not a good feeling at all....its probably one of the worst feelings out there.

Well i surely do feel bad when i make mistakes. Its kinda insulting at times. But at the same time look at the brighter side of it. There is a saying which i would like to quote
"Failure is a stepping stone to success"
So no matter if you make mistakes and fail in life. Ups and downs are always there but we would learn positively through our mistakes. And in future wouldn't repeat those same mistakes and always do better in life and as far as possible try avoiding them.
Hence always excelling and prospering.

Hi kayedanda, I think you should not feel that bad, we always learn from mistakes and first time mist is ok but if you make it second time .. then you really need to work out, alert your mind.. many a time i have done and if i do it second time.. then i need to understand that i am not doing things correctly and in right way.
I am not perfectionist but never want to unperfect. thanks and enjoy :)

yes..i do feel bad each time i make a mistake..big or small...i always think maybe i cud hav done better and if i can, i correct it else i tell myself..to be more careful in my next attempt/work

Yes sometimes i do but i always think that i will do my best to not make mistake again,but i think it is normal for human who can make mistake because were only human and nobody is perfect but i still think like that cause it is my strength to do my best always.

Of course I feel bad everytime I made a mistake. Whenever I make a mistake, somebody could be affected.
One time when I made a mistake, somebody superior than me shouted at me. I feel terrible, then I would cry. After a day or two I will feel better, when that mistake I made has been resolved.
Making mistakes is part of our growth. When nobody is affected with the mistake I made, I can easily correct them by accepting that I made a mistake, and learn from it. And will never do it again.
When somebody is affected with the mistake I did. I have to make an extra effort to let him/her know that I regret what happened. And promise to him/her that I won't do it again, and has learn a lesson from it. And with these, I do hope he/she will be able to forgive me for what I have done.

hello, yes i do feel bad whenever i make a mistake. Sometimes it will ruined my whole day. Or if not it will definitely stuck on my mind. But it won't take me long to get over it. But it will surely a lesson learned for me.
