above 40 yrs. old? try this

Most people turning 40 yrs. of age tend to move the reading material (e.g. newspaper) when reading or doing near work. This is the effect of the internal eye muscles responsible for accommodation (focusing at near and far)losing their elasticity due to age, heredity or trauma. This is not usually a problem if you are nearsighted. But is a bane to farsighted people reaching "the tender age". I once read in the net about 3 weeks ago that presbyopes (that's what they call this group) can avoid blurred vision at near by doing some eye exercises. Like the arms or most parts of the body that can be enhanced and toned to perform better, it says that the eyes can be re-oriented to its former glory. It says that to regain the eyesight for near, all you have to do is focus on two circles about 10 cms. apart for a couple of minutes a day. Try to concentrate on the circles until you see three of them. Yes, that's right, three. It's like magic but it is doable, like a stereogram at work. Do this for a couple of days and you will see the difference. That they say makes the muscles work till it is so strong, you don't need reading glasses anymore.I don't know if any of you tried this at home. For those who did, please send me a feedback.

That's very interesting, thanks for sharing. Does it work just for farsightedness, or for nearsightedness too?

Low stages of nearsightedness DOESNT need to try or use this because they can see well at NEAR. However, high myopes do need their eyeglasses or contact lenses to see better at near. No clinical study yet on this matters.

How far away from your eyes are the circles supposed to be? From your post, I understand that the circles are supposed to be about 10 cms apart from each other, but I don't know how far away from my eyes the circles should be. I am interested in trying this -- figure I have nothing to lose -- so I would really appreciate this information.
