Free to play or Pay to play?

Well there are two types of online games.
One is free to play and the other is pay to play.Which one do you prefer?Why?
I like "free to play" games like spiderman,Tom & Jerry,Fighting Games,Shooting games etc http://www.tmondo.com/p/kroozearcade_menu/kroozearcade.php
The reason why i am loving "free to play" games is that its just free to play.
But there are some of my friends who love "Pay to play" games.They have their own reason why they love.
Which one do you prefer?

I play simple and easy games that are "Free To Play". I never sit to play "Paid Games" as there is a lot of risk involved in them and also the prime reason is i don't have any cash to waste on playing pay games Lolzz...
For those who have the money and really are professionals at playing the pay games for people like them its perfectly fine. If i do the same i would go broke.
