Is she in sane?

my girlfriend wants me in my home while she's out having a good time with her friends! If I went out with my friends, my phone keeps ringing almost every minute but says nothing at all

Hi, welcome to mylot. Seems that you have a girlfriend that is in secure about what it is that you might be doing. Or she wants to make sure that you are home, so that you don't know what she is doing. She could be reacting like this of some type of trust issues or the lack of. I would want to know why she feels that its okay for her to still hang out with friends but doesn't feel comfortable with you doing the same thing. Maybe she is ready to be in a relationship as you should be willing to do the same things that she asks of you as a partner.

Can you spell CONTROLLING? I once had a girlfriend like that. It was not pretty. She would be riproaring mad if I spent my time on campus instead of with her. She had to know what I ate that day, and everything in detail. She is NOT my girlfriend right now.

Lol. Welcome to the reality of life that is the double standard! I guess you are ultimnately more at ease and confident within yourself than she maybe is? All you can really do is accept this insecurity on her part as just one of her traits and focus in on the more positive aspects of her personality.

i think she is insecure. have you done something wrong to her before like cheated on her? it seems to me that she does not have trust in you or your friends.
