Anyone know where I can find focus groups?

Hey I have recently seen a post where a women earned 75 dollars for a focus group in her area. I was wondering if anyone has ever participated in them and what you guys think about them? I was also wondering if there is a good place on the internet to look up local focus groups in my area? I am looking for online focus groups as well as offline, any suggestions?

If you are in the UK, the Saros Research (www.sarosresearch.com) is the place to sign up, for invites in your area. I am sure they only cover the UK at present though. You mention dollars so I am guessing this won't help you, but it may help somebody else reading!
