I am working on mylot, my phone is right next to me, it rings, I look at the caller ID, it is my sister-in-law, I do not answer, let the machine pick it up. I always try to avoid her calls. I have enough troubles of my own and do not like or want to hear her's. She always call with a slew of troubles, problems and complaints.
Is there someone you always try to avoid accepting their call, and why?

Hi there, really it’s rather irritating if someone always keeps on giving trouble to us to repeat again and again asking help for the same question or problem. He or she would still keep on calling us without any tiredness even though we have given him some advices and suggestions. One of the cousins of my husband’s side does the same thing as well and he won’t feel embarrassed and uneasy, still hoping my husband to decide everything for him. A 45 plus man is matured enough and should be able to make his own decision for his personal life but not to rely others. My husband always frowns and shrugs when receiving his calls. Very often he is reluctant to answer the disgusting calls.
posting and good luck.

Yes, it is rather aggravating to continue to hear the same things over and over. My husband da da da, I am divorcing my husband, da da da.
My kids did this, da da da, I am depressed, da da da.
It is the same thing over and over, which makes the conversation so boring, and makes you wish that they will hang up soon.
Thanks for responding.

Yeah sudalunts, I just don’t understand why these people don’t care about our feeling. They never realized that the repeating monotonous complaint would make us feel annoyed and harassed. What to do? He or she is our relative. We could keep on answering da da da ..... only .
You are most welcome sudalunts. Thanks for awarding the best response, and I really appreciate it.
posting and take care.

Yeah, that sounds like a good reason not to answer her calls It just becomes annoying, that every time she calls she has such a long drawn out list of things that are not going well in her life. We all have our problems that we are dealing with.

I pick calls based on the enviornment that is comparing the calls of friends, colleagues, relatives, spouse and with environment. If i am ok with the environment i speak with them or else will call them afterwards.
Rarely i wont pickcalls, if i know why they are calling and not in a position to speak.
