there r 6 billion ppl in the world. and there r almost 1/4 of them living in the absolute poverty. they r starving to death. they have no medical sevice or pure water to eat. they r destined to die in pain though they have done nothing wrong. whenever i think about it, i feel im such a lucky girl. though my family is not rich. buh i have families and friends always there for me. i have the right to laugh and the ablity to choose the way of life. and i have done nothing special. how unfair is it? why im blessed with all this? everything we enjoy costs millions of misable souls. the unequal allocation of the resourse make it possible for us to live this comfortable. so can we do something to help those in the eternal pain? what should we do besides showing our compassion??

for such a young age, bless you for thinking of the people in need. you have a beautiful heart. i just wish that when you grow older and find means to earn on your own, you will not forget your desire to help other.

I rarely have fun, but I do have more than some people do. And I do take time from what I'm doing to think about those out there who are struggling way harder than I am. It's sad to think that no everyone has the same opportunities that you have enjoyed. Even the little things that you do may seem greater to another. One day I hope to give back.

i often think about this too. and sometimes it makes me feel a bit guilty. but most of the time i feel blessed for everything that i have. my hubby & i arent rich but we have a good comfortable life, but we worked hard for it (and is still working hard to have the life we always dreamt of). the best defense that i have when i feel guilty is to pray. I know these blessings that we have are from up above. Aside from that, we also do our share by sharing our blessings.I save a little portion of my earnings and ask my mom to go visit a poor community hospital in my home country every December, give a portion of the money I saved for food & meds of sick children. The other portion of the money I saved goes to a church who helps families in need to acquire a small business to earn a living ( as the saying goes, instead of giving them fish, teach them how to fish). I know our concerns & symphaty cannot change the world, but at least, in our little ways, we can make a difference.
