Mythical ~ or ~ Not ???

I am, and have always, had a Pagan Heart... My Spirit just naturally falls into place with nature ~ not only as we can see it on the material plane (as in tending the earth, her inhabitants and growing or waning with the change of seasons), but also with the "unseen" as well ~ the energies and beings of a world that is normally (and I use the word "normally" loosely) considered "fantasy" or tales for children... I however ~ believe ~ in the Fae ~ the Elven ~ and a miriad of others...
Do you ? And ~ why ~ or why not ?

Pagan heart maybe...
I have been asked if I have fairies...
I never knew how much I loved them until my mom's husband (then fiance) got me some stationary...
Then I ended up with a necklace...
I used to see the "air" when I would look out my window...if the breeze would blow, I could see it.
I see what I believe are fairies...
We come from the earth, we are animals, it only makes sense to me....naturally

I guess that I believe we are from the earth ~ and, perhaps that is why I've always felt so connected with it... I hope that you do have Fairies ~ and again are able to "see" the air within a breeze ~ it can only be a Blessing !
Thank you for your comment ~ and ~ for sharing....

oh yes.
they are rather troublesome company, though.
we've reached an uneasy truce through bribery, flattery and threats.
they're not "nice" in any sense of the word. often downright malicious. but they CAN be worked with.
if you have anything to do with them, it's wise to never lose sight of the fact they are at best, tricky, and at worst can even be dangerous. old fairytales were full of warning, and methods of avoiding them, and protecting yourself from their interferance.
but.
with proper respect you can get good results. respect for the fact that they're not nice, not friendly or helpful by nature, and something wild and beyond even hoping to control .
just never lose sight of the fact that they are what they are.

Ahhhh ~ Well Met Galena !
Yes, there are those amongst the fae who dare not to be trusted ~ nor "ticked off" by casual treatment... Yet I remain a believer, that with (as you've noted),proper respect and due courtesy to their ways ~ they can be quite enlightening & even endearing...Why ~ Hmmmm ~ I imagine that could apply to most humans as well ~ !
Have you a merry weekend ~ and thank you as well for the sharing ~

I don't believe in the dichotomy of Matter and Spirit. My own researches have begun to make me suspect the traditional explanations, which no longer hold any influence over me. I suspect that matter and spirit might be one and the same and the difference might only be a matter of size. Large and coarse=matter, small and unseen=spirit. There might not be any qualitative difference between them. Cheers!!
